This course assumes a background in structural concrete design. The purpose of the course is to cover American methodologies and code, specifically as promulgated by the ACI.

Key issues discussed include:

• meeting codes,
• developing specifications,
• evaluating and testing materials as well as production and deployment of concrete structures.
