Throughout its hundred years of existence, Bnai Zion has always reached out to those in need.

The following are some highlights of Bnai Zion’s history of giving:

  • Introduced American Red Magen David for Israel, an organization in the U.S. that funds ambulances and healthcare equipment for Magen David Adom, Israel’s pre-eminent emergency ambulance service
  • Created and supports the non-sectarian America-Israel Friendship League
  • Supported Beit Halochem rehabilitation and recreation centers for disabled Israeli war veterans and their families
  • Established ten medical clinics, Kupat Cholim Meuchedet, which provide care to thousands on a daily basis
  • Endowed the auditorium in Beit Hatfusot at the Museum of the Diaspora in Tel Aviv
  • Assisted in founding Kfar Bnai Zion, a successful free-enterprise community in Israel
  • Developed the Artists’ Gallery at Ein Hod
